We're moving to a new pension plan

As of July 1, 2023, new rules will apply to pensions. Because of these new government rules, your pension plan is going to change. The Senate and the House of Representatives have approved the Future Pensions Act which includes these pension rules. The new pension plan must take effect no later than January 1, 2028.

To achieve this, unions and employers are currently negotiating to shape the new pension plan. The unions represent the interests of the participants at the negotiation table. The pension fund is not concerned with the content of this new scheme, but is closely involved and assists IFF and the employee associations with information and advice.
