Your new pension scheme is known

4 February 2025

All pension schemes in the Netherlands have to be adapted to the Future Pensions Act. This also applies to IFF Pension Fund’s pension scheme. By January 1, 2028, all pension schemes must be updated.

Last December, employer IFF and employee representatives finalized the agreements on the new pension scheme. The constituencies agreed to these agreements. These agreements are laid down in the so-called transition plan.

The transition plan contains the arrangements for the new pension scheme. The plan also states what happens to the pensions that have already been accrued and the pensions that are currently being paid out. Furthermore, the plan describes what measures must be taken to ensure that the transition is as fair as possible.

The transition plan will be presented to Stichting Algemeen Pensioenfonds Stap

Stichting Algemeen Pensioenfonds Stap (Stap) will administer the new scheme. In the run-up to the switch to the new scheme, you will receive extensive information from Stap about what the new pension scheme means for you. The aim is for the new scheme to take effect on January 1, 2027.

Before the new plan takes effect, IFF has chosen to transfer the current pension scheme to Stap as of October 1, 2025.
