After the summer of 2023, we conducted a risk preference survey. In this survey, 15-20% of the requested participants participated. We are very pleased with that. This survey measures participants' risk preferences: what is an acceptable investment risk for us as a pension fund to take. Additional questions were also added to get a better sense of how participants feel about various future scenarios, such as transferring accrued pension entitlements to an insurer.
The survey shows that participants, especially pensioners, are satisfied with their pension fund. However, a majority are open to changing to another administrator. Part of the surveyed participants think it is important to have freedom of choice in a future scheme, both in the accrual and benefit phase. Some of those surveyed consider solidarity elements for pension beneficiaries important. Participants are willing to take risk and are somewhat more independent compared to participants of other pension funds. In particular, participants with a relatively lower income and dormant participants are willing to take risk.
The survey results are not linked to particular locations.
