If you become incapacitated for work

If you become incapacitated for work

You do not have to notify us yourself that you have become incapacitated for work, as we will be informed automatically by the Employment Insurance Agency (UWV). You must however notify us of any changes in your situation. For example, if your degree of occupational disability changes. This can affect your benefit. If you become incapacitated for work, you are entitled to full or partial continuation of your pension accrual. You will no longer pay a contribution in this case.

We will send you a letter with information on your specific situation

If you become incapacitated for work, we will send you a letter explaining what happens next and what you are entitled to. The letter will give full details of what will happen given your situation. Further questions? Call us to talk things through. Also get in touch if your situation changes. For example, if the degree to which you are incapacitated for work increases or falls. This can affect your benefit.
